Independent Advocacy Service

As a resident of South Ayrshire wishing to enquire about, or to access, health or social care services you have a right to independent advocacy should you have concerns about your views not being heard and understood, when seeking assistance and support.

Independent advocacy, in all its forms, seeks to make sure people are able to have their voices heard on issues which are important to them, and have their views and wishes genuinely considered when decisions are being made about their lives. It is an important part of the process of safeguarding rights.
